Cities and driving bans

The following overview lists 37 cities that are threatening to introduce diesel restriction zones (blue zones) in 2018 due to NOx high levels.

Also listed are 29 cities whose NOx levels are not yet certain for 2017. Should the notified annual mean values exceed 40 µg NOx/m³, diesel restriction zones could be introduced.

In 25 listed cities, the NOx levels appear to be below the specified limits. No current driving bans are likely to be imposed.
